Before the internet, both artists shared a past time of hours spent in libraries for the admiration of exotic

animals from across the world.  Learning of gigantic whales to the tiny world of ants, knowledge and insight was a guaranteed result for pursuing curiosity.  And that was the only reward needed.    

 

As we grow older, the pressure to rationalize against the  pursuit of curiosity happens slowly and surely.  Rewards come with the proven and familiar, while risk and uneasiness become the unknown.

Animals have a unique way on getting us to lower our guards.  A visit to the zoo, documentary, a stuffed animal, pets; we pursue curiosity in animals naturally.  When viewing this collection the artists hope you are able to find more than your spirit animal.
