Artist Statement
We really wanted a canvas to just be bling, bling, baller and of course gold is the first thing that comes to mind. We thought of putting embellishments on there like a gold chain or a cap or something, but at the end of the day, the reflective gold was playful and fun and had that right hint of unique and we didn’t want to go overboard with it. Minimalism being our favourite style, we felt that was fitting.

A truly unique Rawry & Pohly work, this design is a twist on Kachoo and uses reflective gold ink for the linework and matt black for the background. The style choices for this canvas are aesthetics chosen specifically to pair with street culture.
